National Academy of Environmental Protection, Building Construction and Resort Development (HAPKS) was established in 1961 in Simferopol, Crimea, Ukraine.
There are five faculties which are Architecture and Building, Oil and Gas Engineering, Economic and Business Management, Water Economy, Engineering and sanitary techniques, Oil and Gas Technologies, training of foreigner.
There are approximately 2000 students. Foreign students have been studying since 1970 from all over the world such as Vietnam, Malaysia, US, Nigeria, Turkey, Arab countries etc.
The complex has library, hostels, sport complex, students' club/cultural and scientific societies, students' recreation centre.
Preparatory Programme is structured to prepare students to study in engineering, economic, and medical fields in Russian language. You will study Russian language and few subjests related to your planned major.

Graduates of the Preparatory Faculty receive a certificte which grants them the right to enter any educational institution in Ukraine without taking the entrance exams. The admission procedure includes only interview, contract and payment.
Bachelor degree or master degree graduate (not from Ukrainian university) have to sit for entrance examination before 31st August to determine number of years of study.

6. Return ticket with open date of departure from Ukraine, valid for 12 months

Courses will be divided into large lecturer and smaller tutorial or workshop group. Courses assessment not only relies on one final exam at the end of the semester. Daily assessment will be calculated as part of the mark in your final exams.
In most Ukrainian universities and institutes, there is generally a teacher student ratio of 1:8 -10, which gives you a more attentive and personal learning environment.
